Why is picture quality worse on larger screen?
There are an increasing number of large-screen (37-inches up) televisions in the households. As the larger screen means enlarged details, the minor flaws in the picture seem bigger as well. Picture quality – in general – hugely depends on the type of connection. The least favorable is composite (yellow RCA) cable. The latest televisions come with SCART RGB, S-Video, RGB and component connections. Among these, use component connection for the best quality. SCART RGB and S-Video provide better picture quality, too.
